Standard Installation
A Standard Installation includes the following:
- Professional installation of
WildBlue CPE by a Certified Installer
- Travel to and from subscriber
location within 50 miles of installer office
- Up to 100 foot of RG-6 cable
from antenna to modem
- Cable routed through one
exterior wall and one interior wall or floor
- WildBlue modem connected to
one computer. Multiple PC’s and wireless routers are not
included in a standard installation.
Non-standard installations may result in additional charges.
Please confirm with the premise technician that your
installation will be standard prior to allowing the
technician to start work. If your installation is non-standard,
any additional charges must be agreed upon between subscriber
and premise technician prior to beginning work. If you have
ordered from WildBlue directly the equipment for your service
comes directly to you from our warehouses. If you cancel the
order before installation, you will be charged a $50 restocking
fee plus taxes.

WildBlue Equipment
WildBlue Minidish
WildBlue's minidish (28"x 26") both receives signals
from the WildBlue satellite, and sends signals from the
customer up to the satellite. Using the latest microwave
receive and transmit technologies, WildBlue offers a
small, efficient minidish which can be mounted on a
roof, wall or via pole mount in the ground. |

Satellite Modem
A WildBlue modem is required to connect one or more of
your computers to the WildBlue network. WildBlue uses
standardized modem technology based on the DOCSIS cable
modem standards to offer a low-cost, small satellite
modem. |
